Week 5

So past 2 weeks I haven't done preds and I apologize lol. But here they go.

SS (3-3) vs SP (3-3)

Both of these teams are doing worse than what people expected. However they both got a much needed win last week and will be looking to do the same this week. For SS this is a tougher opponent than SPS so they won't just 5-0 them with ease. SS will need there players to be on point if they look to take down SP. SP has faltered lately in PRO but with the talent they have they can pick it up at any point and will need to do that this week. Cubby, Craig, Scotty and Kev will all need to play well to win this one. If one of those can't show then they will need there roleplayers will need to step in and pick up some of the slack. This match should be a close one and in the end I think home field advantage has the edge.

5-3 SP

BnR (4-2) vs FR (6-0)

BnR is good this season and that surpises no one. They seem to have picked up where they left off last season. Same with FR though. But if BnR can bring Mina, Croz, Jordy, Ross and Jim they can beat FR. However if they dont bring those 5 and FR brings there best 5, BnR could be in big trouble because this is frankly a game BnR needs to win if they wanna stay in first place. On the other hand this match for FR is one that if they lose oh well, they're 6-0 again this season and on there way to winning there division. But will they have a playoff collapse again? If FR can win this match and keep gaining momentum they could be the favorites to win it all this season. But you can never count out any team that makes the playoffs though, this is PRO and anything can happen. With that being said I think FR wins this one.

5-4 FR

8BC (4-2) vs LPL (3-3)

8BC is 2nd in there division but only because of wins. However they go up against LPL this week, last seasons champions, has LPL lost it seeing as they aren't as good this season as they were last season? 8BC is better this season and is going to try to go out and prove that. They have to go through LPL team, that when they have all 5, can beat any team. If Daru shows up on his A game along with Tino, Gus, Luis. If those 4 show up with a 5th decent roleplayer, 8BC could be in loads of trouble. But you can never count out Raj, Jay, Niks or JJ. They can all play well when they need to and could make this a very close and interesting match.

5-4 LPL

DS (1-5) vs SPS (0-6)

DS comes into this match having to win out, and get some strong help from the other teams losing to have a shot at playoffs. SPS comes into this match virtually out of the playoffs unless LPL or another team falters. DS lost a match last week they needed to win, and SPS got 5-0'ed in a match they needed to win. Usually I'd say this match is a fairly close match, but even with the reigning WSOP MVP Joe and some others on the SPS Squad DS is just too much for SPS. With Eddie, Scott, Ash and company on DS it's a uphill battle for SPS in this one. Good luck to you guys but DS is just too strong.

5-2 DS

Week 4

FR (3-0) vs SPS (0-3)

FR beat LPL last week on a no show, however SPS will show, but wont put up much of a fight. FR with the talents of Nish, Travis, Andy, Matt are just out matched for SPS. SPS is relying on Jason and Joe to carry for them and thats something you can't do. FR has plenty of people that can carry week in and week out which is what makes them a threat every season. SPS doesn't however which is why they will lose this one. SPS may pick up one win but I don't see anymore than that. Good luck to you both but SPS, you just are way too overmatched in this one.

5-1 FR

LPL (0-3) vs SP (2-1)

LPL will need it's big guns in this match and if anyone denies that then they need there head checked. SP is gonna be returning with a vengeance after they had a horrible week last week. LPL is not playing like they did last season and part of that is because they like to no show this season. If LPL looks to play well this season they need to start showing. If LPL doesn't show with more than 3 it's gonna be lights out for them. Because with the likes of Craig, Kev, Cubby all ready to play on a moments notice and role players in Roy, Brice ,Kerry and company LPL could be doomed. SP is looking to definitely show that they have not fallen off and as one of my fellow predictors said that they "are not the Titanic." I think SP shows up big this one and proves last week was a fluke week.

5-2 SP

BnR (2-1) vs DS (1-2)

BnR beat SP last week and have high confidence coming into this week. DS Hasn't shown there full potential yet but I believe they will against this BnR team. BnR will definitely need Jordy and Croz to play well cause if Eddie, Scott and one other player picks up key wins then BnR could be looking at it's second loss of the season. Eddie and Scott have both been on rolls lately. They both will need key wins and will need to be able to carry. DS does have the talent but do they have the will? BnR has both but they could take DS lightly which could backfire on them. If BnR even takes DS the slightest bit light and DS smells that blood in the water they will pounce on them and prove that DS is back. Gl to you both this will go the 9 I think and end up in DS's favor

5-4 DS

8BC (2-1) vs SS (2-1)

8BC is gonna need to play there hearts out in this one. SS is no pushover and with Cam, Ant, Pita those 3 alone could take out 8BC. However, JJ, Niks, Jay and Kron are no pushovers themselves. They may not be elite players, but they are good enough to upset SS. If Niks can have the aforementioned players show up at the table and play they could push this one to 9 games. The key though will be beating Ant and Pita. If those 2 get beat then it could be smooth sailing for 8BC after that. But it's not as easy as it sounds. I don't see 8BC winning this one. SS is just too good now.

5-3 SS

PRO Week 3

This season is shaping out to be a good one. While SP is on top of there division and have shown that they mean business by beating both SPS and 8BC 5-1. FR has also shown they are a good team at 2-0 and atop there division as well. Both of these teams look to take early control of there conferences. And need to win this week to do so.

BnR (1-1) vs SP (2-0)

So far it has truly shown that as Jordy goes, BnR goes. Jordy can't carry this team by his self and the only other players that have a winning record is Jim and Croz, and those 2 won't be able to assist Jordy in carry every week. This week they face a tough test in SP. SP is loaded and if they bring there top players BnR will need there top players and they will need them to perform at top level. Mina hasn't been on form lately and they will need him to play well. SP if Roy, Cubby, Craig, Mike and Kev all play, this could be a blowout. SP hasn't been forced into a carry situation this season partly because of there revamped roster. They clearly have the talent to carry though and if there recent success in interleagues proves anything, it shows that they have the team unity to do it. This will be a tough one for BnR and I don't think that they will match up good with SP. 5-2 SP

SPS (0-2) vs 8BC (1-1)

SPS got manhandled by BnR last week after the 5-1 loss against SP. 8BC didn't fair to well either. They lost 5-1 to SP. If 8BC brings there top players they should handle SPS easily. SPS will need Joe and Jason to play well, and will need some of 8BC's players to falter in order to really stand a chance in this one. If 8BC shows with Raj, Matt, Jay and Niks, this one will be over quick. I don't see SPS playing very well in this one. Against a strong 8BC team when they're on. 8BC is just too overpowering for SPS.

5-2 8BC

FR (2-0) vs LPL (1-1)

FR has a strong team again this season and LPL can't keep showing with 3 or 4 players. If LPL can bring 5 each week they have a chance to take this one from FR. But if FR shows with Nish, Trav, Matt they should take this one quite easy. (Sorry late on this pred)

SS (1-1) vs DS (1-1)

Fight for 2nd in the conference here. SS revamped there roster with Ant, Stephen, and Cam and with keeping Pita, they could be a real threat. But if I'm hearing right, DS might have a card or two up there sleeves. SS will need to make sure there team unity is there, and that Ant, Cam and Stephen can show up every week. Pita can't do it alone and neither can Ant, Cam or Stephen they will all need to pick up key wins. If this happens SS will be good this season. However, DS with Eddie captaining should be a threat also. DS already has a big win over LPL and that should be a great boost to there confidence. I think DS puts up a fight and comes out and wins this one in a shocker.

5-4 DS

Week 2 Preds

Weird week last week.....all the away teams won. DS beat LPL 5-2, 8BC beat BnR, FR beat SS and SP beat SPS. Will SP continue there dominance they've had in WSOP into PRO and Prove that there a threat in all interleagues? And will SS be able to have Ant play all season in all interleagues? This season is shaping up to be a interesting one.

SP (1-0) vs 8BC (1-0)

SP comes in with high confidence dismantling SPS last week while 8BC had to go the full 9 games with BnR. SP comes in with Craig, Kev, Mike, Cubby, Roy all at the ready. With people like Candi, Ste, Kerry and Carlos all on the side and ready to play at a moments notice 8BC looks to be heavily outmatched in this match. 8BC has picked up Rocky who carried vs BnR last week, but BnR isn't as loaded as SP seems to be this season. If Craig, Kev, Mike and Cubby can show week in and week out they can do great things and possibly go undefeated. 8BC will need Rocky, Raj, Matt and JJ to play out of there minds to beat SP. SP's starting lineup rivals the best in PRO this season and will be dangerous for anyone. 8BC looks to be fighting an uphill battle that can't be won.

5-2 SP

BnR (0-1) vs SPS (0-1)

Both teams looking for there first win and one of em will get it. BnR looks to be the favorites and they clearly are. With Mina, Ross and Jordy all ready to do great things for this team BnR could do well this season. However there main threat is SP. SPS should be no problem this match. SPS can't rely on Joe and Jason to carry them, they need alot of depth and great players. If they can somehow recruit Trey or someone like him to anchor that team maybe they have a chance at 3rd. But I don't see them winning this match. BnR with Mina and Jordy at the ready is just too overpowered. but if we learned anything from this past week anything can happen so don't count SPS out. But it will be a longshot and a tough battle for them to win this.

5-2 BnR

SS (0-1) vs LPL (0-1)

Okay, so last week I would have said LPL would dominate SS. But with Jon, Pita and Ant all playing for SS, it could be a long night for LPL. SS picked Ant up and he played WSOP and almost lost. However big things will happen for SS if Ant can play each week. They can't rely on him to carry each week though. They will need Pita to help Ant. Especially if Daru and Luis pick up wins. Daru lost last week in PRO and that basically ruined LPL's chances. They will need to show up with more than 3 each week if they look to repeat there performance from last season. So LPL, get it together. SS will be no pushover and Ant can easily carry this team to victory. However look for Pita to be on form and help Ant with that carry.

5-3 SS

DS (1-0) vs FR (1-0)

DS surprised me last week in beating LPL. However with Scott on there team now they are upgraded. With him and Eddie carrying them vs LPL this conference could shape out to be a close one. Eddie will need Scott to show up each week and Eddie himself will need to be on form. Those two can't do it themselves though and will need support from Adam and other role players to stand a chance. If Eddie can pick up 1 or 2 more key players like Scott DS could make a run for the playoffs. FR won last week with Trav and Andy carrying them. The "pro" clan will need to be "pro" this week if they look to avoid LPL's fate and have Eddie and Scott carry against them. Petey will need Nish, Trav, Andy and Dan to all show up and play. If this doesn't happen then FR could be in trouble and DS could go to 2-0. I expect this to be a dog fight to the end with FR pulling it out in the 9th game.

5-4 FR

Week 1 Preds

So the season is underway and the first week looks to have some decent matchups. With 2 HUGE matchups in 8bc vs BnR and FR vs SS. This season looks to be a close one in both conferences, who will come out on top?

8BC (0-0) vs BnR (0-0)

8BC has been good as of recent and has suprised people in WSOP. They beat BnR 4-3 in WSOP, but PRO is totally different, they can'r rely on a tiebreak, and can't afford getting down 3-1 early. 8BC needs there top guns for this match, this includes Raj, Matt, JJ and Kron. BnR is going to bring there top guns, which may prove trouble for 8BC. Raj carried them most of the season last season, he may need a repeat performance. But with Matt on there side this season and with JJ playing decent that adds some depth. But BnR with Mina, Jordy, and Ross as there main 3, it could prove a short night. I doubt 8BC will let BnR shut them out, but if BnR brings the 3 aforementioned players, along with Crozzy and if Crozzy can get a key win, BnR could take this one easy. Look for BnR to get redemption and not let this one go as easy as the WSOP match.

5-2 BnR

SP (0-0) vs SPS (0-0)

SP looked solid in there last WSOP match, and with the surprise adding of Kevin, SP looks to be even more dominant then they were before. With Mike, Kev, Craig, Roy, and Cubby rivaling any 5 in PRO SPS looks to be in trouble. SP really restructured this offseason, keeping members of last seasons team while dropping Shane and Timm. Missy could come back this season and if she does that adds even more depth. But with role players like Kerry, Ste, Adam, Jamie, Ketan, Brice and Candi, SP looks like they're alot stronger than people expected this season. On the other side. SPS has Jason, Monte, and Joe, and if those 3 don't start playing like top players this Match will be short. SPS came into this season looking to make playoffs, but that could get off to a fast halt and give them a reality check. This match is a uphill battle that I don't think SPS can win.

5-1 SP

FR (0-0) vs SS (0-0)

This is my match of the week. FR coming in off a disappointing end to there season last season on dominating there conference and falling short to LPL is looking to come back firing. If DJ plays for FR and Petey can get Trav, Sid, Nish, Matt all to show up it could be another dominating regular season for FR. FR is looking to be the big dogs and prove that they are the best team in PRO, but they won't have a easy task. Because with LPL and SS in there conference it could get dicey. FR looks to prove that they're the top team however in this conference and look to open with a dominating win over a vulnerable SS team. SS will definitely need Jon and Pita to show, and just not show, but carry this SS team. With the loss of Craig there star-power went down. However they did add Scott, but can be be relied on? If Scott can be reliable then SS could put up a fight in this match. I don't however, I just think FR has much more skill and more determination in this match and seeing as they have been together the longest and SS had to add players quickly they could be in trouble. Will SS prove they are a team to be messed with? Or will they fall to the bottom quickly and be forced to mount a comeback like they did last season? FR comes away with this one.

5-2 FR

DS (0-0) vs LPL (0-0)

Welcome DS back to PRO. However, DS will need more than Eddie to take out LPL. Thomas can pick up some wins yes, but he can't be relied on to carry a team. Eddie looks to be DS's best player, and if he gets taken out, as well as w00dman, I'm sorry to say but this will be a shutout. DS needs to focus on beating Daru, last seasons MVP. If DS can take out Daru, then it could be a easier match for them. DS, will need to add a few more players or recruit from within and prove they have the skill to compete. For LPL, with MJ withdrawing and Kevin being on and off, and never knowing when they will show up, what will happen? Daru will need to show up with Luis, Oscar and Tino. If they do that than its possible that LPL can shutout DS. however as I said before. LPL will need to prove they can continually show up with 5, cause 3 may not get it done. I have confidence that LPL will show up with 5, but DS could show up with 5 and could be more hungry and take out LPL. But I don't see that happening. LPL should take this one. Possibly a shutout, but I don't think Eddie will allow LPL to shut them out.

5-3 LPL

Team Reports

This is just a overview of the teams and what to expect out of them.

Atlantic Conference

8BC

8BC needs a strong showing in this conference and if WSOP shows us anything it proves that 8BC can play against the big dogs. Raj had to be there MVP last season carrying them alot. They will need more than Raj this season however if they look to compete. They will need Matt, JJ, Niks and Kron to all step up with Raj. If this doesn't happen 8BC could be in for a long season. I don't think they will have the roster to compete for first in there division, but if WSOP has shown anything, 8BC can pull upsets. So what will happen? Will 8BC hang with the big dogs? Or will they be in a fight for 3rd. There Key Players to watch are Raj, JJ and Matt, if those 3 show up on a consistent basis they may be able to compete.

BNR

BnR with Dina captaining still should do good in this conference. But they will need Jordy and Mina to show each week. If Saf comes back and plays for BnR that could help them out as well. But BnR will definitely need a strong roster. If they don't want to have a performance like they did in WSOP vs 8BC they need to make sure they are focused each match and that Jordy and Mina will be able to win close out matches. BnR does have a roster that can win it if they can close matches out. They have 3 people that legitimately can carry vs teams in Croz, Jordy and Mina. Those are there 3 key players. If those 3 can show consistently then BnR should have a strong season.

SP

SP has a down season last season, after starting off strong, they had a bad mid-season collapse and lost there way out of the playoffs. But with a roster this season that rivals the best rosters in PRO, SP could be on the verge of making a solid playoff run and a run to the finals. The off-season PFN pickups in Kerry, Carlos, Cubby and Brent, and if Scotty can show at times they will be a strong team. With the late addition of Craig last season and him returning this season and making SP his home league that makes SP even stronger. With Mike returning and the pickup of Roy SP looks to be one of the best overall teams in PRO this season and in all of interleagues. SP is one of the few teams that have more than 3 keyplayers to watch. With a strong roster there 4 keyplayers to watch are Cubby, Craig, Roy and Mike. If all 4 of those can show on a consistent basis even if they sit one or 2 of those a couple weeks, they look to dominate this conference.

SPS

SPS looks to have drawn the short stick and with no real top tier players they will need to rely on Joe, Monte and Jason to carry them to victory. Joe will need to make sure he can get all of his players to play well on a consistent basis to have any shot of beating some of these teams. SPS is overmatched in all areas of the game in this conference, yet this conference is probably best for them to be in. Cause I think if they try hard enough they can compete with 8BC. With it being carry format, anything can happen though. SPS has 3 key players which I mentioned before, Joe, Monte and Jason need to show that they can compete, if they don't then SPS needs to just hope and pray that they can do well enough to make playoffs.

Pacific

DS

Welcome DS back to PRO. DS has a tough road ahead of them but if they can get some good players on there side they might be able to compete. They will need to recruit 1 or 2 strong players to play beside Eddie though. Eddie, will need to prove that his team can compete and he will need to make sure he's ready to help carry this team. However, there may be some hidden people, Roy on his good days can play decent pool. Jake will need to help carry this team along with Eddie. If history repeats itself, SS will be fighting with DS for 3rd. DS will need to make sure there mentally ready cause this is gonna be a tough season for them. 3 players to watch. Eddie, Jake, w00dman

FR

FR is going to look to have a repeat performance of last seasons regular season and win there division. However with LPL back in there division and if SS can get back to there old self FR may have some stiff competition. But FR is the other team in PRO that I think has 4 key players to watch. If Petey can get his main guys at the table each week he should win this conference. But he needs to make sure that Ben, AB, Sid and Matt can show at the table each week. If they show they could make the finals and look to take the finals this season. There real main competition however I think will be LPL. However I still think FR is the favorite to make finals in this Conference. Key Players to watch. Ben, AB, Sid, Matt

LPL

LPL lost MJ this off-season as he withdrew. Will he come back is the question, and if not, can they pick up Ant or someone? Daru can't be relied on to do it all this season again. LPL will also need to show up with more than 3 and make sure that the 5 the need to show up with can win week in and week out. If Daru and Tino can show up along with Chex and occasionally Luis and a couple roleplayers LPL could fight with FR. I really don't think that LPL will keep up with FR. However anything can happen in carry and that has shown itself. Key Players to watch for LPL are Daru, Tino, and Chex

SS

SS lost Craig, and it could hurt them. They do still have Pita and Jon, but with Jon making his own league, could that effect SS's ability to play as a cohesive team? Could we be seeing the demise of SS? I think not. Jon and Pita should carry this team but they will need a 3rd guy, who will that 3rd guy/gal be? Will it be Thieu? Sterlo? Dan? Or possibly Scott? This question is left for SS to answer. They will need a 3rd strong player if they wish to compete against FR and LPL, if they don't have a real strong 3rd player they could be doomed. Yes, I know, Jon and Pita combined could carry vs any team out there, I get that. But they don't want to rely on those 2 week in and week out, cause face it, they will lose games. So whose the third guy? I think that Scott will come through and start playing more for SS and in interleagues will be that third person they can rely on. If so watch out SS could be a force, but that is just theoretical. So, key players to watch for SS. Pita, Jon, Scott (maybe)

Preseason Report for Season 13

We got a re-structuring of the Conferences and the addition of 2 new Admins. I'd like to welcome Myself and Dan to the Admin team. The conferences this season look like this

Atlantic

8BC
BnR
SP
SPS

Pacific

DS
FR
LPL
SS

Now, in the Atlantic Conference I think the top spot will be fought for in between the restructured and powerful SP team, and the powerful BnR team. 8BC and SPS will be fighting for the 3rd playoff spot. With SP loading up especially for PRO and BnR coming back with the same team they had last season it could be a hard fought fight in the Atlantic Conference. Question is, can SP avoid a 3rd mid season collapse?

In the Pacific Conference it looks almost academic, FR, LPL, and SS will make playoffs, or will they? SS has been faltering lately and if DS brings a solid team back to PRO DS could upset SS. LPL needs to show though and not pull a no show like they did in week 1 in UIC, and will need to rely on More than Daru to carry them this season. FR if they bring DJ, Sid, Andy, AB and Trav weekly they could dominate this division. Question is, can Petey get all 4 of those guys at the table at once?

This PRO season looks like one that could be filled with dominant teams and huge Storylines. All eyes will probably be on SP and if they can prove that they are a team to be threatened with, along with FR, if they can dominate this season as well only to lose in playoffs. With MJ not on LPL's team anymore, LPL will need some more backup, who will they recruit? This season should be a good one folks. Look for a great season and some great matches, and look for my Preds and midseason report.

Week 11

SS (4-6) vs SP (5-5)

SS has made a magical comeback and I respect them for that, but it was against less than stellar teams. This week they play a SP team that when you look at there roster yeah, they haven't gotten there best players eligible but Mike is 11-4, Brice is 8-6, and you got Missy at 5-5. Out of SS's eligible players the best record is 7-3 and that's coming from Jon. SS in only having 3 people eligible will need to work to get at least 5 eligible, and if that means sitting Pita and Jon, then they may have to do it this week. If SP looks to win in the playoffs they will need everyone that they have eligible to be playing well, and that includes getting Ste and Eddie eligible. If SP can bring Ste, Mike and Timm tonight, then SP should have no trouble taking out SS unless Mike has another bad showing. 5-3 SP

PFN (7-3) vs EC (6-4)

PFN continued there hot streak last week and with a win this week will secure thereselves a spot in the playoffs. PFN hasn't shown up with Stu or Chris as of late, which makes ya wonder will they be there for playoffs? IF Stu or Chris don't show up for playoffs it will weaken PFN's team but they will still have a decent team without them. EC has exceeded everyones expectations with the limited roster they have. Dante hasn't played much neither has Stephen. They need to get those 2 eligible if they really want to have a realistic shot at doing good in the playoffs. Because with PFN having Brent and Brian, and if Stu and Chris play they will be the favorites no doubt. EC needs Dante to show up next 3 weeks if he hopes to get eligible, and Stephen 2 out of the next 3. But with EC hitting a tough part of there schedule with PFN this week, SP next week and BnR after that, it will prove if EC means business of if they will collapse. I don't think EC has a chance here. 5-1 PFN

BnR (4-6) vs 8BC (4-6)

BnR needs to step it up if they wanna make playoffs, they will need to win out and hope SP falters. But with there only shining person coming from Jordy they will need everyone else to step up tonight. Raj, Kron and JJ are not to be underestimated. If BnR makes the mistake of underestimating them then that could be the demise of BnR right there. 8BC will need Kron, JJ, Raj and Niks to all show up if they wanna challenge BnR. BnR will need more than Jordy to carry though. If Croz can pick up a few wins and take the pressure of Jordy then its possible that BnR can win this one. But I just don't think that BnR will be able to beat a rising 8BC team. 5-4 8BC

PDZ (I guess 2-8) vs DP (1-9)

Welp Bye here I guess....unless PDZ changes there mind again?? Gl next week DP

LPL (7-3) vs FR (10-0)

If MJ shows and if Daru can bring some of his key players its possible that LPL can give FR there first loss. But it seems that Andy, Matt and Trav step up in crunch time and seemingly when it looks like the match is over they can bring it out of nowhere. Petey, yes I said Petey, won it for them last week when no one else could, shocking? I don't think so, Petey is very underestimated at times. Daru won't be able to carry everyweek and LPL will need to pick up more than 2 wins and will need to rely on more than Daru if they look to beat a good FR team. If Nish, Andy, Matt and Trav show up for FR, you can more than guarantee a FR win. In the end it'll go to 9 games and FR will magically pull out a win again. 5-4 FR

Monday, August 22, 2011

Week 10...Crunch time

Last week PFN beat SP, EC won, BnR lost (again) and FR continued there hot streak.

SP (5-4) vs BnR (3-6)

SP lost to PFN last week when PFN didnt have Stu or Chris. Funny how that works, with there best roster they cant be a depleted PFN team, with a mediocre roster, they can beat a stacked PFN team, funny huh? With Cam returning to pool seemingly these past few days, you have to wonder if he will make a showing. If he does and is on his A game as well as Mike and Missy, BnR may be in trouble. BnR lost to SP Just 3 weeks ago and surely will be looking for payback. With Missy carrying vs BnR last time they played, will she be that big of a force again? BnR will need to come back, and come back strong if they have any hope of playoffs. 5-3 SP

EC (6-3) vs SS (3-6)

EC won last week against PDZ, but thats PDZ and this is SS. EC is sitting in 1st with PFN this week but that could all change with 1 match. EC could go from first to second this week, and with PFN next week and SP in 2 weeks thats not where you are going to want to be, EC has one of the weakest squads in PRO but with BnR seemingly not playing well this season it has played to there advantage. SS however has a strong squad, they just havent had any luck. SS could move themselves into prime spot to get 4th and say 3 games out of first place. If SS brings Jon and Pita, those two alone could carry vs this EC team. So unless Stephen and Dante show this week, I don't think EC can beat SS. 5-3 SS

PDZ (2-7) vs PFN (6-3)

PDZ has been up and down this season and it looks as if its just going to get worse this week. PDZ needs pommy to show this week and be on his best because if he isn't on his best then I fear that PDZ will have no chance against PFN. With DJ not on his magical run where he seemed unstoppable last season, and Drew not playing well either, they just don't have the firepower to carry against the likes of Brian, Chris, Stu, and Carlos. PFN, with the afformentioned players can take out PDZ this week and cement thereselves a spot in the playoffs if BnR loses to SP. PFN coming off a huge win last week (and for anyone that doesn't think that was a huge win get a mind check.) will be looking to plow over PDZ this week. PDZ sorry but I just don see you beating this powerful PFN squad. 5-2 PFN

FR (9-0) s 8BC (4-5)

FR, not much to say about em anymore but they look to be on a 13-0 season. With them playing 8BC this week it shouldn't be a problem gong to 10-0. However FR will need to bring there big guns cause 8BC has found some magic recently it seems like. But I doubt it's enough to to take out Trav and company. With Andy and Nish along side Trav this FR team looks primed and ready to make a PRO finals run, question is can they do it? 8BC has beat PFN and LPL past 2 weeks, however I don't think there magic will hold up this week. With FR being undefeated and with them wanting to keep that streak alive no doubt, they will need some big help with FR either not showing up with good players, or not enough. I don't see either of those happening so sorry 8BC your luck runs out here. 5-2 FR

DP (1-8) vs LPL (6-3)

Not much to say about this match but good luck next week DP. LPL won't go down to DP, after losing to 8BC last week Daru will definately come out firing this week and DP will get another 5-0 on there record. I don't see any holes that DP can find in this LPL team. If LPL brings just there role players it will be enough to take out DP. 5-0 LPL

Pro Week 9....end is in sight

Last week saw a Suprise definately in 8BC beating PFN. SP vs LPL was a big fight to the finish with SP narrowly losing to LPL. This is definately crunch and clutch time for all these teams, and these next couple weeks will prove to be a challenge for some teams.

EC (5-3) vs BnR (3-5)

BnR has fallen from there pedastool that they thought they would be on to a 3-5 record and 2 games out of first place. EC has hung on to a playoff spot even after losing 3 straight. With the help of LPL and 8BC they have crawled back into a tie with SP and PFN, but being shown in 3rd by percentage points. If BnR loses this week then they have a tough road to get into the playoffs. BnR needs this win to get back into serious contention. However if EC somehow pulls out this victory then BnR has a serious mountain to climb, and with the way there season has been going i dont think they could climb it. No worries though I think BnR wins this one. 5-3

SP (5-3) vs PFN (5-3)

This matchup is the matchup of the 2 powerhouses of the Atlantic Conference. With 8BC somehow beating PFN last week it kept PFN in a tie with SP. SP had a fight with LPL last week with Daru carrying over SP once again, but this proves that SP is here to stay. If PFN brings Stu, Chris and Brian. And if SP brings Timm, Mike, Ste, and Missy then this match will easily go to the 9th game. But with PFN losing 5-3 last time in a stunner of a match they will certaintly be out for revenge. But you have to remember, SP did not have there heavy hitters for that match. PFN and SP will need there top players to beat the other team in this match and should be an exciting one. However I think SP pulls it out in 9. 5-4 SP

SS (2-6) vs PDZ (2-6)

SS won another game last week and are now only 1 game behind BnR for 4th place. If SS makes a late season run and wins out, they can finish 7-6, which might put them in playoff contention, they will need alot of help from EC and BnR though. SS with Jon and Pita can beat alot of teams, and PDZ shouldn't be too hard for them. With PDZ not having Pommy every week and DJ not being how he was last season they could go from the Cinderella run last season to missing the playoffs. A game out of 3rd place PDZ looks to be in trouble if 8BC can do what they did last week vs PFN every week. I just don't think PDZ will be able to beat SS this week. Sorry guys 5-2 SS

8BC (3-5) vs LPL (6-2)

8BC played a decent match last week vs PFN and in alot of peoples opinion...got overly lucky. With Stu, and Brian not being there PFN had to go with a makeshift roseter which put them in a hole early. 8BC did pull it out but with Raj carrying them. They can't rely on him to carry every week and going up against a stellar LPL lineup with the favorite to win MVP in alot of peoples minds as there capt in Daru, LPL should be able to handle this match very easily. With Daru, MJ, and Uriel all ready to play for LPL there shouldn't be a reason why those 3 alone can't beat this 8BC team. LPL is definately a favorite to win it all and 8BC is just way too overpowered in this match and needs to look forward to next week. LPL wins 5-1

DP (1-7) vs FR (8-0)

Not much to say about DP besides with them losing 5-0 to SS, I see no reason why they shouldn't have another loss in there loss coloumn after this match. DP is new to interleagues, and with them not having much interleague experience it's hard for me to say that they can beat this talented FR team. FR is the only undefeated team left in the playoffs and have already locked up a playoff berth. With Matt, Trav, Nish and Andy all ready to play on any given night DP better lookout cause FR is coming full steam ahead and DP shouldn't be a tough obstacle. FR continues undefeated...5-0 FR

Week 8

Week 8 saw SP beat BnR who some people thought would never happen, then the rest everyone figured would happen. And SB dropped out, (go figure).

SS (1-6) vs DP (1-6)

SS continued there losing streak last week to the suprise of no one. SS has players, but they just can't seem to put it all together in one night. Pita can't be relied to carry each and every week and Jon will need to start playing well if they want to win many more matches. I think this week should be a win for them but just week in and week out they cant put together a win streak...its now week 8 and at 1-6 unless EC and BnR have a major breakdown, SS has no shot at playoffs. DP is new to PRO and with them being a fairly new league I know nothing about them sorry to say, they are a new league to interleagues and they are like SS they will need good players and a breakdown to make playoffs...I don't see either of these teams making playoffs and SS should win this one. 5-2 SS

BnR (3-4) vs FR (7-0)

BnR has gone on a downward spiral as of late, starting off decent and now losing 2 straight they find themselves in 4th, if they continue this trend BnR won't make playoffs, and it isn't getting any easier. Last week they lost to SP who is a highly under-rated team and this week they get the undefeated FR. FR with the likes of Trav, Andy, Matt and Nish aren't a easy team to beat. BnR will need there best squad to beat a awesome FR team who is on there way to a easy top spot in the Pacific Conference, FR should continue there winning ways this week and BnR will continue to struggle. 5-3 FR

SP (5-2) vs LPL (5-2)

The 2 second place teams in there respective conference and two very good teams. SP with the likes of Craig, Mike, Missy, Kev when he shows, along with Timm and Ste aren't a easy team to beat. Craig, Mike and Kev can carry any given night and with Missy showing she still has it by carrying last week SP is making a deadly push to top this conference. At 5-2 no one expected them to be this high and to be undefeated in the Atlantic Conference, however  LPL is a great team in there own right. With MJ, Kevin, Daru and Uriel they are easily one of the deadliest teams in PRO this season. If those 4 show at the table each night LPL could win this. These 2 teams also could be the 2 finalists in the end because they are easily 2 of the top 5 teams in PRO this season. This match should come down to end and depending on who shows for each side should depend on the outcome. 5-4 SP

PFN (5-2) vs 8BC (2-5)

PFN is with BnR, FR, LPL and SP, they are one of the deadliest rosters in PRO. With Stu, Brian and Chris there top 3 and with some players that are great in those 4th and 5th spots its no wonder why they are tied atop the Atlantic Conference. PFN captained by Trey and Brent should easily make the playoffs and will be a contender no doubt, they're not who I worry about in this match. 8BC who is barely hanging on to that 3rd spot over last seasons runner ups dont seem to match up to weel with PFN. PFN is deadly and 8BC, well they just aren't that great of a roster. Without Irfan and a couple other solid players they just aren't a threatning team. Niks is a decent player and you just never know what to expect from Naveen and the others. This one shouldn't be close at all if everyone for PFN is on there game. 5-1 PFN

EC (4-3) vs PDZ (2-5)

EC who experienced there fall from undefeated grace are lucky to be holding onto that 3rd position. However, they should watch there backs cause I don't think BnR will be looking to stay in that 4th spot. EC with the departure of Safdar don't have many more solid players, they have Stephen who can win on any given night but can't always carry and then dan who spends way too much time talking and not focusing on winning. If EC looks to maintain this 3rd spot then they need to focus on beating PDZ this week. PDZ has had a significant fall from grace. After being runner-ups last year to possibly missing playoffs this year and without Pommy around alot, I don't think PDZ has what it takes to be able to have a repeat performance. PDZ will need some help from 8BC and a win from EC if they want to get 3rd in this conference. I just don't think PDZ will be able to win this week. 5-3 EC

Week 7, playoff contenders and pretenders showing up

FR (6-0) vs EC (4-2)
FR kept there winning streak going last week vs PDZ, not suprising. With the likes of Andy, Matt, Jay, Trav, and Nish, it isn't suprising that this team is 5-0. If at least 3 of those 5 show every week FR could definately be PRO Champions this season. EC on the other hand is suprising. With Stephen showing up sometimes, and Saf going toBnR, and with dan not playing like he should and talking too much, isn't a good sign for EC if they want to make playoffs in a Stacked Atlantic Conference. The past 2 weeks have been hell for EC winning a combined 3 games. They went from 1st to 3rd past 2 weeks. PFN and SP in 1st and 2nd and BnR still lurking at 3-3, EC cant afford too lose too much more they will here though. 5-1 FR.

SS (1-5) vs PFN (4-2)

This one when you look at it seems really lopsided, but I don't think it is. If Pita and Jon play and 2 of PFN's best get knocked out in the early going this could be a big upset for SS. Pita and Jon need to show and need to be on there A game. They will also need 2 or 3 SOLID role players if they look to take down a PFN team Stacked. But if those 2 don't show up on there A game then look for Stu and company to tear SS apart. With the likes of Stu, Chris, Brian, Trey, and Brent PFN isn't a slouch team by any accord. I don't think SS will have the firepower though and PFN will come out on top. SS will need to start a rebuilding stage. 5-1 PFN

BnR (3-3) vs SP (4-2)

BnR losing to PFN last week was a loss they didnt need. With them now being 3-3 and a game out of 3rd place BnR needs to start playing better. Because with Kev, Craig, Mike, Timm, Ste and Brice SP can make a run for 2nd in the conference and possibly first. BnR will need to bring Croz, Mina, PC, and Jordy, if they want to counter SP's top 3. If Craig and Mike show and 3 solid SP Players show then this could turn out to be a super close match. This match could go to the 9th game easily and with SP already have beaten PFN earlier in the Season this could be interesting. 5-4 SP

SB (1-5) vs 8BC (1-5)
This match has big signifigance these 2 teams are 1 game out of 3rd place behind PDZ for 3rd so a win this week will be big. If SB doesnt wanna finish in the cellar they need to pick it up. 8BC hasn't been playing well either and with the top 3 in there conference being FR, LPL and PDZ. Those 3 will surely come out of the Pacific Conference. SB needs to regroup and rebuild if they plan on returning next season and contending. Joe can't do it all and lately he hasn't been doing anything. Niks needs to rebuild also. He needs to bring in some experienced il players for next season. Good Luck to both teams 8BC wins 5-2.

PDZ (2-4) vs LPL (4-2)

This Match should be good. If Pommy shows and if DJ, Drew and Hani all play like they can then PDZ should be able to keep pace with LPL in this match. But if LPL brings Daru, Kev, and Oscar this match could be very lopsided. LPL has one of the better rosters in PRO and can hang with anyone. With a MVP candidate in Daru this should be good. Daru carried against BnR in a stellar 9 game match 2 weeks ago. And with LPL getting a 5-0 win last week due to SB forfeiting this Match looks to be a blow out...I don't think it will though. LPL will do what they need to do and pull this one out, however it will be closer than people think. 5-3 LPL.

Week 6, Will Pita Power Show Up This Week?

Last week we didnt have many suprises, EC Lost To PFN, who didnt see that coming? LPL beat BnR in a stunning 9 game match SP beat SS, PDZ won again and 8BC got shutout.

8BC (1-4) vs SS (0-5)

Both of these teams have basically already put themselves out of contention for playoffs. And with 8BC not having any real power players with Irfan withdrawing from PRO you have to wonder who is gonna fill in the shoes for 8BC. With Niks being the captain they should be in good hands but they need more than a good captain to be a good team. There team will need to play in coherence with eachother and come together and play as a team if they look to win some matches. SS may have the worst record in PRO but they won't be an easy win for 8BC. With Jon and Pita anchoring a SS team that could win a few and with a good bit of luck could get into the playoff contention. Pita didn't get to try to carry last week seeing as he played last, you have to wonder though, if Pita would have played would it have been a different score? SS might come on strong the middle of the season, you never know. I look for SS to win this won and for 8BC to continue there slide. 5-3 SS

SP (3-2) vs EC (4-1)

SP has come on strong recently. Beating PFN 5-3, SS 5-2 and landing just percentage points of out playoff contention. Wit Brice suprisignly having the most wins for SP and Mike having a 5-0 record SP could be in real contention for the first spot in this division. With Mikey and Timm also switching to SP this past week SP has one of the strongest rosters in PRO this season and will be a force come playoff time if they make it. EC showed last week that they can be beaten and will be beaten. With PFN beating them last week and ending there dream run it opens the doors for the top 4 in the Atlantic Conference to take first this week. EC will need to bring there big guns if they look to keep up with a SP team that is hitting there stride. If Kev, Mike, Timm, Shane and Brice show up for SP look out, this will be another bad week for EC. 5-1 SP

PFN (3-2) vs BnR (3-2)

PFN beat EC last week, the top dogs of the Atlantic Conference Stat Wise. However with PFN beating EC last week, these two Atlantic Conference teams are open to take first. PFN with the likes of Stu, Chris and Brian look to take out a BnR team who lost in 9 games to LPL last week. PFN will need Stu, Chris and Brian all to win there first game if they want to beat this good BnR team. PFN can't rely on just one person to carry against this BnR team. If PFN relies on just Stu or Chris or Brian to carry they will lose this one, because with Jordy carrying last week to the 9th game and with them still having Mina and Jack on there team BnR is a good team. BnR will take PFN to the 9th game no doubt about that, question is who will outplay who? If Mina and Jordy can take out 2 of the 3 best players on PFN then BnR should be able to take this one, but if the top 3 PFN players stay then watch out BnR. This one will go to the 9th game. 5-4 BnR

FR (5-0) vs PDZ (2-3)

FR at 5-0 deserves it. With them shutting out 8BC 5-0 last week and coming off there IPA Championship sweep of PDZ, you gotta wonder if FR are the favorites to win all of PRO. FR with Matt, Trav, Nish, and Petey can beat PDZ if they show up in top form. If they dont show up in top form then look out FR you could lose your first match, although I don't see that happening. With Nish improving his game and with Trav and Matt, and don't forget about Andy all being on there game, I don't see how FR loses this match. But with a Pommy sighting in IPA, will he leave his marbles alone a long enough time to Play this PRO match? If he does watch out cause Pommy could carry against FR if he is on top of his game. I don't think PDZ will have the firepower to beat FR however. 5-2 FR

LPL (3-2) vs SB (1-4)

Not much to say about this match besides good luck to SB. With LPL being on top form and with Daru carrying vs BnR last week LPL is a tough match for anyone. LPL should take out SB easily. Joe will have to have a full team effort to beat LPL. LPL with Kev, and Daru and Tino, will take out SB easily. SB won't have enough talent to take out this LPL team who is as good as any team. Sorry SB but I don't think you have a chance. 5-0 LPL.

Week 5 Preds

Last week was a decent week to watch some PRO Matches. SS took BnR to the 9th Game, SP beat PFN in a stunner, and a match full of more Drama EC continued there hot streak, PDZ lost to 8BC and FR downed LPL.

SP (2-2) vs SS (0-4)

SexyPoolerz proved last week that they don't need Kev and Cam to down a good team. PFN's 3 best players were downed in the first 3 games. Brice beat Chris, Shane beat Stu, and Ste beat Brian. Brice and Shane won the last 2 games for SP, but not without some drama. With the Kalpz tape being bad and texhnically not having to be sent cause of a dq, and then shane not recording the 7th game, the 7th game was a double dq therefore giving SP the win in a drama filled match, but there was skill involved, first 3 games were shockers but SP definately earned it. SS took BnR to the 9th game in a good match. But with them losing Craig to SP, that will cause them to search for more talent and it bolsters an already stacked SP team. But this match shouldn't be a blowover for SP. With people like Pita and Jon still on SS's team they have the talent to beat SP. So this match will go to the 8th or 9th game, but if SP brings the core they had last week with the addition of Craig, SP should win this one. 5-3 SP

EC (4-0) vs PFN (2-2)

EC has suprised alot of people with Saf still being undefeated and Maria leading EC to a perfect season so far, you wonder, can anyone beat EC? They will get a big challenge this week. They will need more than Saf and Lewis to beat PFN's stacked Roster. Maria will have to take out the whip and bring the big dogs if she looks to take down a great PFN team. But with Stu, Chris and Brian there starting 3 players and under there new captains Brent and Trey, PFN should take out EC and get back on the winning track. If Stu, Chris, and Brian all get back to form this week then they can roll over EC easily. But you have to watch out for saf, seeing as he is undefeated he could carry that momentum into this week. But I don't see it happening. PFN 5-2

8BC (1-3) vs FR (4-0)

8BC who hasn't been able to catch there UIC form is slowly falling out of the race to make playoffs. Niks will need to bring his big guns just like Maria if he looks to win this week. They will need to make this a team effort and string together a few good wins if they wanna actually hang in with FR. Niks always has a team, but its not always a good team, but he will need to make this one a good team if he looks to hand FR there first loss and get back on the winning track. However, FR is a great team, with Trav, Matt, Andy and Nish all on there team they are a strong team, and on paper can hang with any of the top teams easily. FR, captained by Petey, will win this one with ease if he plays his players right. 8BC just doesn't have the talent with the lacking of Irfan to hang with FR. If the 4 before mentioned FR players play and then a solid 5th player plays, this could be a possible 5-0 shutout, I don't think Niks will allow that however and I think they will get 1 or 2 wins. 5-2 FR

LPL (2-2) vs BnR (3-1)

LPL has a strong team and with Daru, Tino, and Kevin all on there team this is going to be a good match vs BnR. Daru and Kevin can both carry a team on any given night and Tino can always pick you up 2 or 3 solid wins. If Daru and Kev both show up and are on form this match will easily go to the 9th game. They will definately need a solid 5 here though, and if Marco and Uriel play with Kevin, Tino and Daru then BnR will have to play very well to match them. If Mina, Croz, Jordy, Jack and Ross all play for BnR then they have a strong chance at winning this. But if all 5 of them dont show then they will need at least 3 of those 5. Jordy can't do it alone and they can't count on him to do it alone. I think Dina will muster a good team together but I don't know if it will be good enough to beat LPL, but I've been proven wrong many times. But I just don't think BnR can pull it off this week. 5-4 LPL

SB (1-3) vs PDZ (1-3)

One of these teams will get there 2nd win of the season and the other will continue there slide. With PDZ's horrible loss to 8BC after beating SP in a 9 game marathon you have to wonder what team for them will show up each week. And with SB losing last week to EC on a night where neither the captain or co captain was there for SB you have to wonder if SB is for real? SB if they can get all there people at the table could beat PDZ, but it will have to be a team effort. Seeing as DJ is boxed till next week PDZ will be weakened, and seeing as I don't see Pommy returning anytime soon PDZ will have to pick up the first couple wins. They have to have Drew, Tim and Hani to win to take this one I think. If only 2 of them win then it will be alot harder. But PDZ is a up and down team just like SB. So it's very hard to predict this one, I think SB will take PDZ to the 9th game I just don't know if they have enough to beat them though. But like I said before, I've been proven wrong. 5-4 PDZ

Week 4

Last week PFN got into it with FR, a bitter rivalry there. Can't wait for the rematch there. DJ got boxed for 2 weeks for "unsportsmanlike behavior" basically for calling Kerry names. This week doesnt look to be as heated as last week for any teams though.
SS (0-3) vs BnR (2-1)

SS looks to be on the same path they are in UIC, a bad one. SS just doesn't have the roster they need to compete with PFN, SP, EC, and BnR. SS doesn't have it any easier this week with a BnR team that looks to be heading in the right direction if I say so myself. BnR will just have too much talent for this SS team that is struggling. Pita can't always carry the load, and with Craig so called "retiring" I don't see anyway this team comes back and makes playoffs. BnR will take advantage of a weak SS team and go to 3-1. If Mina, Ross, and Jordy all play this week could easily be a 5-0 week for BnR. But watch out for Pita, cause he could Carry them this week, you never know. BnR will definately win this one but the score? Who knows. 5-3 BnR

PFN (2-1) vs SP (1-2)

PFN lost for the first time last season, but brought Stu which strengthens them. But this week won't be any pushover, even with Cam retiring, SP still has a strong roster, even if Kev doesnt show, they still have Ryan, who hasn't played, Ste, and they have Mike and Missy still and don't forget Kev. PFN though has Brian, Stu, Trey and Brent, all four of those can carry a team on any given night. PFN will need to rebound off there loss and off they heated exchange they had with FR to beat SP. SP lost to PDZ last week, but, you can bring a positive out of this. SP doesnt have to have Mike there to have someone Carry. Andy and Brice carried them to the 9th game last week, where Christy won it for PDZ. So with Brice showing he does have talent to carry a team, can SP put it all together in one night? If so, watch out for them I think this could go to the 9th game. If it does watch out anything can happen. 5-4 PFN.

PDZ (1-2) vs 8BC (0-3)

PDZ won last week, I wouldn't say luckily, but they can't rely on Christy to carry every week. And with Pom still playing with his marbles as the other Predictor says I don't see him coming back any time soon. Also with DJ being boxed for 2 weeks if they look to get back on track they will need to channel there inner Pommy within all of them and win. 8BC are 0-3, and they look like they are in the same boat as SS are in. Not going to be able to make playoffs. And with a team like FR, and a team like PDZ in there conference it's going to be hard for 8BC to make playoffs. If Drew can conjur up a good team this week then PDZ can take this one with little resistent from the crushers who seemingly are being crushed. 5-2 PDZ

EC (3-0) vs SB (1-2)

EC the Dark Horses of this years PRO Season are showing that they are no joke. At 3-0 and topping teams like PFN, BnR and SP. EC looks like they are true contenders this season. If Saf doesn't switch leagues like he did in WPA, then this could be a good team. But if he does then EC may have to rely Lewiss he decides to play every week for them. EC can obvisouly win if its a team effort, and SB should be a easy week for them. SB just hasn't shown much talent and that will continue this week I'm afraid, with the self proclaimed MVP not doing so hot, I don't think SB really has a chance against EC. 5-2 EC

FR (3-0) vs LPL (2-1)

FR vs LPL, a stunning matchup this week which is exactly why it's my Match of the Week. FR is undefeated and have a great roster with the likes of Trav, Matt, Jay, Nish, and Andy. If that 5 were to play every week FR could easily win the PRO Title. Unfortunately I don't think they can get that same team to the table each week. But if they get at least 2 or 3 of them to the table each week then FR will definately be in contention for the Title. LPL has a great roster as well with Daru, Tino, and Kev. If those 3 show every week then it could easily take the title as well. LPL will need to put it together though and get 5 to the table each week if they really look to win the title. This match will definately go to the 9th game and it really depends on which 2 players are playing the 9th game to decide this outcome. I think FR wins in the end though. 5-4 FR.

Week 3

With PRO 2 weeks underway and new people showing up for each team, you wonder who will be in contention for finals and who won't be, this week should tell it all.

SB (1-1) vs BnR (1-1)

This week when SB takes on BnR it should be a easy win for BnR. But if SB shows up with Joe and Dave, and a few other decent players I don't think it will be a pushover for BnR. If Joe and Dave both win then its possible they could carry for SB, but it would have to be a team effort. BnR have a great team and look to get there 2nd win of the season. If BnR can bring the team they did last week then they should be able to take out SB with no problem. The thing is can BnR bring there cards to the table?Good Luck to both teams and Dina dont forget your cards. 5-2 BnR

LPL (1-1) vs SS (0-2)

Okay LPL, how does this work? You win with 3 players but lose with 4? You're one player away from a full team. Better get that full team there or it'll be a long season unless you plan on winning with only 3 or 4 people. In a conference that has Freedom and Pool Dragonz in it, you can't afford to just have 3 and 4 people though you need that full team. If SS can show with Craig, Pita and Gary and if Jon can show for them then SS could make a run and get right back into this. But they will need a Craig that will stay there for the whole match and wont go idle and time out as he did in there last match. SS can be a good team if they play good and bring there players. Good Luck to you SS, you better win this week or you could be out of it for good. 5-4 SS

8BC (0-2) vs EC (2-0)

I'm sure 8BC is telling themselves they should have won last week vs SP and maybe they should have. Then again with Mike and Missy carrying for SP it was a hard task for anyteam let alone a 8BC team who besides Irfan and sometimes Matt is the only consistent one that can carry. 8BC despite EC's record should be able to take out EC this week. With Safdar having a MVP type season atm for EC at 5-0, it looks like he may be there only hope, but with a strong middle half of the season still to come for EC Safdar can't carry the whole load all of the time. And with Maria starting to lose some of her players for some odd reason she will have to make sure she has a full team against a 8BC team that can suprise people. Good Luck to you both, but I think 8BC gets there first win. 5-3 8BC.

PDZ (0-2) vs SP (1-1)

PDZ lost again last week and you're wondering what has happened to this team? This team needs Pommy, DJ, Drew and Hani all to show up to be a contender in a tough PRO season. If those 4 don't show up this week against SP it could be a long night for them. PDZ will need to step it up a level if they look to beat SP and start to get there wheels a turning. SP has a great roster with Missy, Kev, and Mike there top three. They also have Cam who hasn't even played a game for them in PRO yet. IF they can get those 4 to show up consistently then they will be a team to contend with come playoff time. Kev can Carry a team on any given night, as can Mike and Missy. Mike and Missy carried SP last week and against PDZ this week look for those two to be a threat to carry again with possiby the help of Cam if he shows. Good Luck to you both. SP wins 5-3.

FR (2-0) vs PFN (2-0)

The two top dogs of each Division going at it this week so this has got to be my Match of the Week. FR has a stunning cast of players especially if Matt, Andy and Trav show up every week. FR showed there force in week 1 vs SP and last week. FR is looking to kick ass and take names this season but to stay undefeated they are going to have to go up against a just as good PFN team. With Brian on PFN's team it isn't a walk in the Park. Brian can carry a team along with Kerry so look for those 2 to be a threat week in and week out. But you can't forget about Chris and Trey either. Both of those players can carry a team as well and are having MVP type seasons. This match will be a dog fight no doubt, if the roleplayers for FR like Nish and Jay show up then FR could take this one, but don't count PFN out cause PFN is still PFN. FR wins 5-4.

Week 2

Week brought some suprises, the defending champs to PFN, FR beat 5-1 just trouncing them. EC Trounced on SS as well 5-2. The other matches all went to 8 games. This week I look for things to get back on track for alot of teams.

FR vs SS

Last week FR beat SP 5-1. But not without the help of SP. If Andy and Eddie would have finished there runs this match could have turned out differently with ease and SP would have been up 3-2. But they didn't and good job on not letting them get a 2nd chance FR. SS Got trounced on by EC and it looks like SS is going down the same path they are going down in UIC. A bad one. But unlike UIC, SS has time here seeing as this is only the second week. But they cant afford to fall behind early too fast because if SS does SS will not be able to catch up to some of the powerhouses in PRO this season. If Matt, Nish, and Andy all show up for FR this will be an easy win for FR. I don't see FR having any problems with SS this week, although it won't be a shutout, it won't be close either. FR wins 5-1

8BC vs SP

8BC lost to SB by the score of 5-3 last week. 8BC is not the same team as they have been the past month in UIC. They have alot of holes in there team now and that could cost them dearly against a SP team that is stacked to the core. They may not have showin it last week but SP will be a threat. Will talent like Cam, Kev, Missy, Ryan, Andy, and Brice at there grasps SP has a real shot this year. Many people will doubt SP cause of last week. But look for SP to make a solid run and make playoffs. This week should be a easy rebound week for them if they bring there good players. Brice always has a team around and is usually a good team. SP should win this one and get themselves back on track. 5-3 SP

SB vs PFN

Joe "says" he's making a MVP run this season, im sure all the other players are saying to themselves "We'll see about that" With People like Tino, Daru, Kev, and all the other great players in PRO, its hard to say Joe will be MVP. But SB will definately need some luck if they look to take out PFN who beat BnR last week. PFN is probably one of 2 teams that you can say we'll see you in finals. Someone will have to pull an amazing upset to take PFN out. SB won't do that this week however. PFN is just too good and SB has way too many holes still. Although I would like SB to win, it won't happen. 5-2 PFN

PDZ vs BNR
PDZ lost to a LPL team last week that only had 3 members. That either shows you how strong LPL is with only 3 players which they are. But it also shows you how PDZ cant capitalize on a team that only has 3 players. BnR however lost to PFN who is strong this season and is a favorite to make Finals if not Win it all. If PDZ is week again they dont stand a chance against this BnR team. BnR has strong players, may not have shown all the way last week, but it will this week. I don't see PDZ beating BnR if BnR is at full strength. Sorry Drew but unless you, hani and pommy are all playing your best and can carry the load. I dont see you winning. BnR 5-2

LPL vs EC

LPL is the other team that you can say will be in finals. LPL won 5-3 with only Tino, Kev, and Daru last week. If they get another 2 solid players, I think LPL could win this season undefeated. All 3 of them can carry LPL week in and week out. LPL is a true force this season and shouldn't be underestimated. LPL will be in playoffs no doubt. However EC on the other hand has a good team. But as Mister Predictor said, with no true Superstar they have to have a team effort if they look to take out LPL. I think they can pull together a team effort but not a win against LPL. They will do decent and show people they are a good team, but not good enough to take out LPL. Sorry EC. LPL wins 5-3

Week 1 and things are already heating up

It's only week 1 and we already have some stellar matchups that look to give us the outlook of this season. We have defending champions BnR vs PFN. We got a good SP team vs a good FR team, and LPL vs defending runner ups PDZ. These 3 matches should tell us what we are in-store for this season.
And with the Dropping of MC this season it shows the re-emergence of LPL in PRO which makes you wonder, if the Dropping of MC will affect LPL in anyway?
SS vs EC

SS has suprisingly been dissapointing in UIC this season but have done decent in IPA. So going off these 2 interleagues you don't know what to expect out of SS for this season in PRO. If they have picked up some good players that can consistently win matches for them then I think they have a chance of hanging with the teams with the better players on them. But this week they face a EC team who is captained by Maria. Now whether they will succeed or not depends on whether she actually has picked up good players. Word is she has picked up Stephen but will tha tbe enough? I don't see EC keeping up with SS though, or any league in PRO for that matter. I just don't think Maria will have been able to pick up the team that she needed to keep up with the better teams in PRO. But we shall see. But this match will go past the 5 matches and go to 7 I believe with SS coming out victorious. Gl both teams. SS wins 5-2.

BnR vs PFN

This match is going to be a great match-up. BNR is the defending champions and always have a great PRO team. PFN is a great team as well and also always has a great PRO team so this one will no doubtedly go the distance. The question is, who will come out on top? BnR is going to be riding the momentum of there PRO Championship last season and they have a big bullseye on there back. Jordy will pick up wins for BnR this match as normal and if Jack plays for BnR he will pick up a win or 2 as well I believe. But with Brian and Kerry for PFN, it's going to be hard for Jordy and Jack to be the only ones to carry BnR which is why I think Ross and a few others will be on there A game like they were last season. In the end I see it going down to the wire with every game being a back and forth game. PFN will be able to keep up with BnR but I don't see PFN being able to take out BnR coming off there Championship. BnR will continue rolling and win this one 5-4.

SP vs FR

This is going to be another great match-up. Petey is a great captain and will surely play his players right but hes going up against another good captain in Brice. Yes that's right, Brice has taken over the reigns in PRO as sp's captain. SP will bring a good team as they have in UIC each week and if Missy and Brice both show on there A games along with Andy and there solid core of role players then this SP team will be a mess to deal with in the regular season and come playoff time. FR looks to have a good team though with Travis, Ebs, Dan and Petey all leading the way for this FR team they are no slouch. FR will pose a threat to these top tier teams this season as they always have. This match-up is going to go down to the 9th game easily. It will be a match of back and forths but I just think SP will have more determination seeing as they didn't do as well as they hoped last season. SP wins this one in the last match 5-4. Gl both teams.

8BC vs SB

This match on paper looks like it will be a wash out and that 8BC will just walk all over SB. But with the adding of bmx Dave to SB's roster they have strengthened that core. And with Joe captaining he might just lead them past 8BC. However, 8BC is a good team and are showing that in UIC this season. With Niks leading the way for 8BC they aren't that bad of a team and will make a strong push for the playoffs. 8BC is going to be a good team this year it seems like and will give any of these teams a run for there money and I think they will have enough to take SB out. SB has Dave and Joe and a few unknowns but Dave cant be the only one that carrys SB to a win. I think this match will go to 7 games but 8BC will just prove too much for SB in the end and 8BC will end up taking this one 5-2. Gl to both teams.

LPL vs PDZ
LPL will probably come with a strong team as normal. With Tino leading the way but who all is gonna play for them is the question? And will the leaving of MC show any affects on the LPL players? We will see in this match-up. Will PDZ bring Pommy, Hani, Dj, and Drew like normal? Or will they bring some new players, if they bring the team that they used on there amazing run to the finals they should be good here. But they aren't showing all too good in UIC which worries me and which should worry PDZ. They need to be on there best if they look to repeat there cinderella run of last year. However, I don't see them starting off good, I think LPL will show up in top tier form and take out PDZ. I don't think PDZ can get it together fast enough from there mediocre UIC season to keep up with LPL. This match will be good in the beginning but I think in the end LPL will take over and win this one 5-3. Gl to both teams.

My Pre-Season outlook for PRO regular season was hard to choose but it will be close at the end.
